Amri has worked within the Debt and Collections industry for over 10 years and so possess an in-depth knowledge of this area. It is her firm belief that if these matters are handled in a professional and civil manner there can be a result pleasing for both parties. One of the primary practice areas of ALMLS is therefore assisting our clients recover monies owed to them. We will take you through the negotiations to litigation if this becomes necessary.
Amri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with Honors from the University of London. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science with Honors from the University of the West Indies. She advanced as the top student of her graduating class with an award of merit from Herzing College’s Paralegal Diploma Program. She possesses a very strong academic background in law and is very knowledgeable in matters of the Small Claims Court, Human Rights issues, Landlord and Tenant matters, among many other areas of her practice.
A member of the Paralegal Education and Advocacy Committee for the County of Carleton Law Association where she assists in developing continuing professional development opportunities and programming for paralegals in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.
Tutors paralegal candidates as a way of helping to enrich and grow the Paralegal community in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.
Volunteering at a local library once per week as a literacy tutor. She strongly believes in doing small things to empower and build our community through mentorship for our children with a focus on strong literacy skills.
